Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West's men's soccer hosted and won their first conference game Tuesday, Sept. 25th against Fullerton College Hornets with a final score of 2-0.

The Rustlers who are 4-1-2 overall this season defeated the Hornets, 1-2-2 in a match that remained scoreless for the Hornets. Goalie Antonio Flores (Paramount, CA/Paramount HS) put up an impressive 5 saves in the 90-minute game. Emmanuel Acosta (Santa Ana, CA/Segerstrom HS) scored the first goal of the game for the Rustlers with an assist from teammate Andres Perez (Westminster, CA/Westminster HS). The second goal was made by Jamie Rios (Lake Forest, CA/Laguna Hills HS), Bryan De La Rosa (Garden Grove, CA/Garden Grove HS) had the assist for Rios. 

The Rustler's travel to Santiago Canyon for their next game on Sept. 28th at 6:00pm.
