W Soccer: Shutout Against Visiting Undefeated Bobcats

W Soccer: Shutout Against Visiting Undefeated Bobcats

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West women's soccer team held Saddleback College to their second lowest scoring match of the season in the 2-0 loss.

The Bobcats haven't surrendered a single goal all season and is averaging just shy of four goals a match as the Rustlers defense did all they could this afternoon to limit their opponents scoring chances. The Rustlers goalkeeper Carly Miles was tough in the posts stopping an impressive 13 shots on goal while allowing two in the back of the net.

Forward Kennedy Chavez led Golden West with two shots on goal and probably the best looks at the net all game against the very tough Saddleback defense.

Golden West will be on the road on Friday October 15th when they head down the road to Orange Coast College for a 3pm kickoff.
