W Soccer: Three Second Half Goals Propel Rustlers to Win

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The women's soccer team used three second half goals to beat Fullerton College Friday afternoon 3-1.

The Hornets jumped out first with the 1-0 lead with a goal scored in the 20th minute but that was all the Rustlers would surrender. The offense attack for Golden West kept coming as they tallied 22 shots with seven on goal. Alyssa Serrano tied the match in the 49th minute with great placed ball just over the stretched out hands of Fullertons goalkeeper. Mendoza wasn't done yet as she assisted on LaNell Swains perfectly timed goal kick in the 83rd minute for the insurance goal.
