Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West Track and Field hosted it's first OEC meet of the 2018 season. With Orange Coast College and Fullerton College in attendance, the athletes faced a brisk wind and impressive finishes.
Freshman Arianna Torres highlighted the Golden West Women's performances by winning the 200m, 400m, 4x100m, and 4x400m at Friday's competition against Orange Coast and Fullerton. Another standout performance came from Arissa Guerrero who won the 100m hurdles in 19.30 seconds. Pole vaulters, Jaelani Davalos and Kelly Esquivel are currently tied for the number one position in the Orange Empire Conference with a mark of 9'8".
