Huntington Beach, Calif. - It was a classic five-set thriller Friday night when Golden West fell to visiting Orange Coast 23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 10-15. 

The Rustlers dropped the opening set 25-23 in a tough back and forth tussle that put them down 1-0. The ladies responded in the second and third sets 25-20 to have a 2-1 advantage heading into the fourth set. Adriana Morales tallied 19 kills and Ryann Gaglio tallied 18 kills and three service aces to pace the Rustlers attack. 

The fourth set saw Golden West having some troubles at the net in dropping the set 25-19. The Rustlers were diving all over the court recording 79 digs as a team with Rachel Miller leading the way with 19, Emely Hererdia 18, and Katie Griffin with 14. 

Golden West will be traveling to Santiago Canyon College next on Wednesday, October 13th for a 6pm start.
