Savea Harrington

Coach Harrington enters his eighth season coaching the defensive line for the Rustlers. During the off-season Coach Harrington works for Rep One Sports, an NFL sports agency, training new defensive linemen for the draft.  Prior to Golden West Harrington was an assistant coach at Western High School for 16 years.  During Harrington’s career he has coached over 30 players, who earned scholarships to four-year colleges.  In addition he has coached six players in the NFL, including 4 time pro bowler Michael Iupati.

Harrington’s family roots are from America Samoa, his family is from the villages of Mapusaga Fo and Faleniu.

During Coach Harrington’s playing career in 1982 he earned all Orange County honors as a Linebacker at Western High School, he was the Team Captain for Nationally ranked Golden West in 1987, earning him a scholarship to Weber State where he earned Most Improved for the Defensive Line in 1988.
