Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West men's volleyball team swept the visiting Fullerton College Hornets 3-0, 25-17, 25-21, 25-22 Wednesday night. 

Outside hitter Matthew Coleman led the Rustlers with 13 kills to go along with his six digs and Conner Ludlum was right behind him with a seven kills in the victory. Golden West controlled the momentum in the first two sets as they cruised to a first set victory of 25-17 and what appeared to be a close second set win 25-21. 

The Hornets seemed to come back to life in the third set as they kept it close the and even tied the set at 22-22 before the Rustlers rattled off three straight points to take the set and ultimately the match. 

NEXT: Golden West will travel to Irvine Valley College on Friday, March 22 for a 6pm start.
