Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West Rustlers college women's basketball team notched its 11th win in a 99-32 blowout against College of the Desert Wednesday night.

The Rustlers were led by Vanessa Epperson who poured in 31 points, nine steals, seven assists and was a perfect 13 for 13 from the charity stripe. Golden West had five players in double figures; Epperson had 31, Janelly Portillo 19, Sheridan Bivens 16, Ivette Salcedo 11, and Fama Diagne with 10. The Rustlers also had a season high for assists, Epperson picked up seven, Shelby Ross added four, Tatiana Saigon, Bivens, and Diagne each added three. Golden West also dominated the boards picking up 53 rebounds to College of the Deserts 36. The team was led by Diagne who grabbed 13 and Portillo added seven on the offensive side. Armine Israyelyan picked up two more blocks and remains in the top 10 of the state. 

Golden West will be back in action Friday night December 9, when the host West LA for a 6pm tipoff.
