Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West College Rustlers and the Copper Mountain College Fighting Cacti faced off Friday night with the Rustlers determined to come out on top.

The game began with a strong showing from both teams, but it was clear that the Rustlers had the upper hand. Copper Mountain struggled to keep up, but they fought hard, determined not to go down without a fight.

At halftime, the score was 25-17 in favor of the Rustlers. The Fighting Cacti made some adjustments during the break, but the Rustlers were too much for them to handle. The second half was a battle, but the Rustlers ultimately pulled away with a 57-41 victory.

Golden West will travel to district rival and number two ranked Orange Coast College on Wednesday 1/18 for a 5pm tip-off.
