Costa Mesa, Calif. - Women's swimming finished first place in 12, while Orange Coast only took first place in 2 events on Friday. The reigning OEC champions were unable to keep up with the Rustlers pace. 

In the women's 200 yard Medley, Margaret Dix, Melissa Bergesen, Zeineb Kafallah and Brooke Roy finished first in 1:52.78. 

Zeineb Kafallah took the top spot in the 200 yard Ind. Medley, finishing in 2:11.55. In addition, Kafallah also took first in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.40) and the 500 yard Freestyle (5:13.71).

Freshman, Melissa Bergesen finished in 1:09.44 for first place in the 100 yard Breaststroke, swam the 50 yard Breaststroke in 32.13 for the win and also placed first in the 100 yard Ind. Medley (1:02.43).

Brooke Roy touched first in the 50 yard Freestyle finishing in 25.13 and first in the 100 yard Freestyle (54.68)

In the 100 yard Backstroke, Lauren Vosseler finished in 59.91 for first place. Vosseler finished first in the 50 yard Backstroke (28.10) as well.

The 200 yard Free Relay was won by Golden West's Margaret Dix, Brooke Roy, Kellie Guerin and Lauren Vosseler.
