Costa Mesa, Calif. - At the conclusion of the Orange Empire Conference Prelims, Golden West women are ranked fourth going into Friday's Championship events.
Sophomore Raena Ramirez won the conference title in the javelin, setting a new personal best of 37.21m. Her mark ranks her third in So Cals and ninth in the state.
Freshman Tiona Jones placed third in the high jump and fourth in the long jump, qualifying on to So Cal Regionals in both events.
Five Rustler women are set to compete in this Friday's conference finals at Orange Coast, with hopes of qualifying on to So Cal Regionals at Antelope Valley College on May 7th.
