Huntington Beach, Calif. - The #25 ranked Golden West College women's volleyball team swept visiting Fullerton College Friday night 25-18, 26-24, 25-22. 

Sophomore outside hitter Iliana Galindo led the way for the Rustlers tallying 11 kills with 18 digs on the night. The first saw Golden West jump out quick and never look back as they took an easy 25-18 first set win. 

In set two, Fullerton showed some fight in a tight match that went back and forth ultimately ending with a 26-24 win to take a 2-0 lead. 

Setter Katie Griffin was doing all she could to set up points as she recorded 31 assists. 

Golden West closed it out in the third set, 25-22 to improve to 5-2 in the month of October. 

The Rustlers will travel to the always tough Orange Coast College Pirates on Wednesday, November 2nd for a 4pm match.
