W Water Polo: Greer Leads Rustlers to Dominating Victory

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West women's water polo team dominated the Orange Coast College Pirates in the pool Wednesday afternoon en route to a 14-2 victory. 

Sophomore Cam Greer lead the way for the Rustlers as she netted a season high eight goals, five in the first half. Golden West would jump out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter as Greer and Kylie Stablein each score twice. 

The second quarter was the Greer show as she netted three goals and Coast found the back of the net for one goal for a 7-1 halftime score. Golden West kept their foot on the gas pedal, finding the back of the net four more times in the third quarter, led by two goals scored by Stephanie Offner and a goal each for Greer and Kourtney Pyle

The Rustlers finished the game scoring three more goals for good measure in the fourth quarter for the 14-2 dominating win over rival Orange Coast College. 

Golden West will await seeding for the Orange Empire Conference Championships that will begin on Thursday, November 1st at Fullerton College.
