Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West hosted their annual cross country invite at Central Park last Friday. The newly designed course led to quick times for the women's race.

Golden West freshmen Genesis Villa improved her season best by 3 minutes running a time of 28:35. She finished third for the team with Raemah Goodwin and Alexis Reyes leading the pack for the Rustlers.

Winning the women's race was Glendale's Giselle Masedo with a time of 19:29. Glendale was the team champion for the meet.  The next meet for Golden West will be the Brubaker Invitational on October 9^th.
