Golden West Sweeps LA Harbor

Huntington Beach, Calif. -  The red hot offense for the Rustlers (7-1)  completed their 3 game sweep of the LA Harbor Seahawks (3-5) with a convincing 12-5 victory. The Rustlers outscored the Seahawks 40 - 11 over  the 3 games. 

Gianni Castillo carried the hottest bat today going 4 for 5 with a double, 3 RBI's, and 2 runs scored. Freshman Cody Marshall was not to be overshadowed going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI's, and 3 runs scored.

Sophomore Tyler Tungate (2-0) threw 7 innings of 1 run work while scattering 6 hits before being relieved by the bullpen. The Seahawks gave their best shot against the Rustler bullpen in the ninth inning scoring 4 runs but reliever Soren Yarnall was able to stop the rally.

Next: The Ruslters will host Bakersfield in a 3 games series starting Thursday February 18 with first pitch scheduled for 2pm.
