Baseball: Daylight Savings Can't Come Soon Enough, Offense Keeps Producing

Huntington Beach, Calif. -The Rustler baseball team hosted Cerritos College Tuesday afternoon. It took three hours and fifteen minutes to complete the first eight innings of the game and was suspended due to the darkness. Cerritos College currently leads 11-8 in the top of the ninth inning.

The story of the game was difficulties on the mound. Golden West has used six different pitchers so far, who have walked six batters and gave up eleven runs on nine hits. Eight of Cerritos runs came in the top of the sixth inning on five hits, three walks, and two hit by pitches. Luckily for the Rustlers their offense has kept them in it by scoring eight runs off ten hits.
