Reno, NV - The Golden West College Track Team was represented at the 2017 Pole Vault Summit held in Reno, Nevada on Friday and Saturday, January 13-14. The top men's performer was Freshman Jett Gordon. He jumped 16'2" to finish 2nd place in the college division. Sophomore Luis Alonso (12'7"), Sophomore Cameron Cruz (12'5"), and Freshman Dereck Tuper (11'9") also competed for the Rustlers. On the women's side, Freshman Jaelani Davalos jumped 9'2" to tie her personal best.
