M Track: Gordon Takes 2nd as Fegan Earns 4th in CCCAA Championships

Bakersfield, Calif. - The men's track and field program sent two athletes to compete in the California Community College Athletic Associations (CCCAA) state championships this past weekend and scored pretty well.

Jett Gordon repeated last years second place finish with a clearance of 4.90 meters (16ft 3/4in) as he was edged by the first place finisher from Mt. SAC who cleared 5.05 meters. Gordon's two year reign for Golden West has come to a close as he awaits to make a decision on where to take his talents next.

Not to be over shadowed, Ryan Fegan turned in a fourth place finish by clearing 4.75 meters (15ft 7in) to end his freshman campaign with the Rustlers.
