Riverside, Calif. - Golden West College men's track team had one participate in this weekends CCCAA SoCal Regional championships this weekend, a freshman thrower, Blake Spencer

Spencer from Newport Harbor HS threw 152' 5" in the discus which was good for third best all-time in the Rustler record books and good for second place in SoCal Championships. He wasn't just done yet in the throws events as he went 48' 6" in the shot put to finish in fourth place in the championships. Those two throws advances Spencer to the CCCAA State Championships held next weekend May 17-18 in San Mateo, California.
