Huntington Beach, CA - Golden West track and field competed at El Camino College on Saturday, March 30th. 

Sophomore Jake Troxell won the shot put at the Dave Shannon Invitational hosted by El Camino College. His throw of 14.30m ranks him fifth in the OEC rankings for men's shot put. The mark is also a personal best and earns him the CCCAA State "A" standard. 

NEXT UP: Golden West and Troxell will compete again at the Cerritos Invitational on Friday, April 12th.
