Golden West traveled to Palomar (1-10, 0-5) Friday to defeat the Comets 3-1. The Rustlers (8-2, 4-0) are undefeated in Orange Empire Conference play, and are currently on a 5 game winning streak.  Match set scores were (25-21, 25-16, 23-25, 26-24)

Sophomore Tyler Kulikowski fished the set with 11 kills, putting him at a total of 44 for the season. He also led the night in assisted blocks, facing off at the net 11 times, with 1 solo block.  Teammate Matt Hilling also sent 11 kills to the Comets, along with 2 solo blocks and 3 block assists. Matt, despite a recent injury has a total of 93 kills overall and 34 in conference play.

Next, the men play at home Wednesday at 6:00pm against Grossmont.
