Huntington Beach, Calif. – Golden West defeated San Diego in four sets to improve to 3-6 on the year. The Rustler defense was anchored by Daniel Vasquez's 15 digs. Steven Morales added eight digs and Alvin Truong led the Rustlers in kills, once again, with 17.

The Rustlers controlled the Knights in the first two sets and won both in dominant fashion. The Knights capitalized off several Rustler miscues in the third set to take set three. After falling, Golden West recovered and returned to form, taking the fourth set and winning the match, 3-1.

NEXT: Golden West will play their next game on Friday, March 6, at Palomar. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
