Women's Swimming Dominates Day 3 of the OEC Championships

1650 Freestyle: Zeineb Kalfallah, Golden West – 17:23.40
100 Backstroke: Lauren Vosseler, Golden West – 58.42
100 Freestyle: Lauren Vosseler, Golden West – 50.60
100 Breaststroke: Melissa Bergesen, Golden West – 1:06.33
100 Butterfly: Mackenzie Bailie, Orange Coast – 56.31
400 Free Relay: Golden West - 3:28.32

NOTES
Golden West's Zeineb Kalfallah endured the 1650 Freestyle to finish first with a time of 17:23.40. Lauren Vosseler then brought home 2 first place medals, first in the 100 Backstroke (58.42) then again in the 100 Freestyle (50.60). Freshman Melissa Bergesen also took home first place in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:06.33 giving Golden West its fourth first place finish on the day. Mackenzie Bailie gave Orange Coast their first win of the evening in the 100 Butterfly with a time 56.31. Golden West finished off the night with first place and a new conference record in the 400 Free Relay, in the time 3:28.32.
