Women Swimming Dream Team Dominates Again

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Women's swimming finished in first place in all events but one over the course of the Orange Coast, Cypress, Golden West Dual Meet. 

The top 4 Rustlers commanded the water, taking first in every event they participated in. Starting with the 200 yard Medley Relay, the unstoppable combination of Lauren Vosseler, Brigitta Games, Lia Jorgensen, and Melissa Bergesen finished the relay in 1:50.58.

On their own, each woman proved they deserve to be on top, keeping Orange Coast out of first place in every single individual events. 

Bergesen touched first in the  200 yard Ind. Medley (2:09.50),  the 100 Breaststroke (1:07.03), and the 100 yard Ind. Medley (1:00.08).

Vosseler swam away with the win in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 24.12, the 100 yard Freestyle (51.72), and the  50 yard Backstroke (27.80).

Jorgensen beat out Orange Coast and Cypress in the  100 yard Backstroke (1:01.58), the 200 freestyle (2:01.33), and the 500 freestyle (5:17.63).

Games crushed the competition in the 50 yard Butterfly (26.91), the 100 yard Butterfly (58.84), and the 50 yard Breaststroke (30.38).

Next, the defending State Champions will host agian, this time on March 14th at noon in a finals meet.
