Chris d'Entremont Named The State Offensive Player of the Year

Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West Football is proud to congratulate Chris d'Entremont and Zimari Manning on being named to the All-American Team; and Price Miller and Jacob Anderson to the All-State team. 

Sophomore quarterback Chris d'Entremont was named the Offensive Player of the Year by the California Community College Football Coaches Assosiation. d'Entremont finished the season throwing for an overall 214 completions, 3,297 yards and 43 touchdowns. "This has been a huge honor to Chris and the entire football program and college. Anytime someone is a state player of the year I believe it is a direct reflection on everyone involved including the academic side. We look forward to continually following Chris after he transfers to the 4-year level as he represents Golden West College," remarked Rustler head coach Nick Mitchell on d'Entremont's honor.

Zimari Manning was named All-American First Team Offense for his outstanding efforts as the Rustler's go to wide receiver. Manning totaled 51 receptions and 23 touch downs for his freshman season. 

Linebacker Price Miller was named All-State First Team Defense for his 51 solo tackles, 44 assists, 95 tackles and 1 interception.  

Golden West's second defensive player named to the All-State First was Jacob Anderson. The sophomore totaled 32 solo tackles, 25 assists, 57 tackles, averaging 5.7 per game. Anderson's defensive efforts gave him 2 conference fumble recoveries and a fumble return touchdown.
