The Southern California Football Association (SCFA) announced six Golden West College Rustler football student-athletes were selected to the 2018 scholar athlete team. 

These student-athletes must have two seasons of participation at the collegiate level, successful completion of a minimum 36 units, and achieved a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average to earn this award. 

Congratulations to Beau Kalbacher (4.0), Wulfe Retzlaff (3.7), Genesis Ofagalilo (3.2), David Aldapa (3.2), Ben Ratzlaff (3.5), and Ryan Rains (3.1) for their hard work and dedication in the classroom.
