M Basketball: Dogani and Watson Score Double Digits; Not Enough in Loss

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Golden West Men's basketball team played host to Irvine Valley College Friday night. The final score was 82-61 in favor of Irvine Valley. Continuing a tough first season back for Rustler basketball.

The Rustlers scored the game's first points but that would be their only lead of the game. As Irvine would shoot 47% from the field and lead by as big as 23 points. Golden West's top scorers were Eric Watson with 19 points and Francis Dogani with 16. However, they could not find a way to slow down the Irvine Valley starters as four of them scored in double digits.

The Rustlers fall to 3-20 on the season and 1-10 in conference. Their next game is on the road Wednesday, February 5th at Fullerton college.
