Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West shut out Norco 5-0 at home against Norco, improving their record to 6-1-2 and 3-0 in conference.
Freshman, Brian De La Rosa (Garden Grove, CA/Garden Grove HS) lead the team in scoring with 2 goals coming in the first half of the game. Teammates Angel Vallejo (Anaheim, CA/Anaheim HS), Cesar Cruz-Martinez (Santa Ana, CA/Foothill HS) and Eduardo Almaraz (Santa Ana, CA/Los Amigos HS) each scored a goal for the Rustlers in the second half. Goalkeeper Antonio Flores (Paramount, CA/Paramount HS) recorded 2 saves and earned the shut out.
Men's soccer's next match up is Friday, October 5th at 3pm against Orange Coast.
