Golden West Men's Soccer Ranked No. 1

Golden West men's soccer made their biggest move from the No.2 spot to the No. 1 spot in the Southern California CCCAA poll.  The Rustler's impressive record of 10-1-3 swapped places with the previous No. 1, Mt SAC.  The Rustlers also moved up in the state rankings to No.3 in the CCCAA poll.

The men's soccer team defeated both Santiago Canyon 3-0 and Norco 2-0 this week.  The Rustlers held both team scoreless, while only allowing only two shots on goal per game.  Jamie Rios, Nathan DaRosa and Cesar Cruz-Martinez scored for the Rustlers against Santiago Canyon.  While Brian De La Rosa and Nathan DaRosa did the scoring for the Rustlers in the game against Norco.

Goalkeepers Diego Chacon and Antonio Flores shared equal time in the net during the two games, each having one save per game.
