Huntington Beach, Calif. - Men's soccer defeated Cypress college in a tense 1-0 match up on Tuesday. The game was physical, but it was the No. 1 Rustlers who finished with the win, scoring the only goal of the game.

Golden West tried to find the goal 16 times, with seven shots on goal. It was Andres Perez who's shot cruised past Cypress's goalkeeper, giving the Rustlers the win. Goalkeeper Antonio Flores had two saves, earning the shutout. 

Golden West's last game of the regular season will be Friday, Nov. 9th at home. Game time is 3pm as they face off with No.2 in the conference, Santa Ana.
