Men's Soccer Slips to San Diego

The Rustlers continue their struggles on the road with a tough 2-1 loss to San Diego City College. The Rustlers started the game on the right foot with a goal in the 5th minute when Dair Acuna got in front of the SDCC goalkeeper as he attempted to clear it, deflecting the ball to a wide open Max Hubert who tapped it in to put the Rustlers up 1-0.

However, SDCC was able to tie it up 1-1 just before the end of the first half.

The Rustlers came out in the second half and struggled to deal with the high midfield pressure that SDCC was applying. This high pressure eventually led to a defensive error where SDCC was able to capitalize to make it 2-1. The Rustlers changed up their formations to push for another goal, but SDCC was able to hold them off to preserve the victory.

The Rustlers look to regain their winning form this Friday, September 13th at home against Cerritos at 3pm.
