Huntington Beach, Calif. - Men's soccer advances to the second round of the CCCAA Soccer SoCal Regionals in hopes to make it all the way to the State Championships held on December 5th & 7th.  No.4 Golden West will take on No. 5 Chaffey Tuesday, Nov. 25th at 2:00pm at Golden West College. 

On Friday, the Rustlers defeated Santa Ana 4-0 for a third victory this season against the conference opponent. Scoring first for Golden West, 7 minutes into game time was Alex Velazquez with the assist from Nathan DaRosa. DaRosa then helped Juan Gutierrez with a goal putting the Rustlers ahead 2-0 going into half time.  Gutierrez found the back of the net again, this time with the assist from Velazquez. The final goal would be scored by Luis Lopez, assisted by Gutierrez. 

Next: The men will make their play for the next round against Chaffey College on Tuesday, November 25th at 2:00pm.
