Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West Men's soccer ran away with a 4-1 victory over Chaffey College in the second round of CCCAA playoffs.  

The No. 4 team in the south found the back of net early with a goal from Alex Velazquez, teammate Juan Gutierrez was there with the assist. The next point came from Nathan DaRosa with Jonathan Canales on the assist. Golden West's goal keeper Jerry Berber had a total of seven saves for the game, but let one slide by for Chaffey's first, and only goal.

After the half, the teams both stepped up their defense, but Velazquez wouldn't be stopped, netting another with DaRosa on the assist for the Rustlers' third point. With minutes left of game time, Adoinis Robles poked one past Chaffey for the final point of the game. 

Golden West will have their work cut out for them in the third round of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs. The men will face off with the No. 1 Mt. San Antonio away on Saturday, November 29th -game time will be posted online.
