Offense Shines in Shutout Victory

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Rustler offense shot the ball 25 times with 10 of them landing on goal and three of them finding the back of the goal in a 3-0 shutout victory over the Santa Ana Don's. 

It wasn't till later in the first half when Juan Silva was able to score the games first goal for Golden West on an Erick Gomez first of three assists in the match. A minute later Jesus Vargas headed a ball into the back of the net from a perfect corner kick by Gomez to extend the lead 2-0 heading into halftime. The Rustler's were able to score an insurance goal early in the second half thank to another Gomez assist, this time to Luis Juarez

The defense for the Rustlers played tough as they only allowed two shots on goal the entire match to help goalkeeper Luis Sosa to his fourth shutout win this season.
