Men's Track Starting Conference Season with Record Setting Performances

Riverside, Calif. - The Rustler Track and Field teams traveled to Riverside City College for their first Orange Empire Conference meet of the season. 

The men beat Santa Ana yet loss to Riverside. Lorenzo Mendoza set a new personal record in the hammer throw with a distance of 37.82m. Newcomer Johan Digiovanni had a good day finishing third in his sections of the 100m and 200m.

The men will participate in another OEC double dual meet on Friday, February 26th against host Santa Ana College, as well as Orange Coast College.
