M Volleyball: Coleman, Beralas, and Flores Selected to the All-OEC Squad

In the men's volleyball coaches meeting on Saturday morning three Rustlers were selected for the All Orange Empire Conference first and second teams. 

Outside hitter, Matthew Coleman was the lone Rustler selected to the All-OEC first team after guiding Golden West to a 8-9 overall finish and a 3-5 finish in conference play. Coleman recorded 193 kills and 3.16 kills per set which both lead the Rustlers and placed him third best in the Orange Empire Conference. His play was pivitol in keeping Golden West in the playoff hunt down the stretch when injuries began to pile up for the team. 

Tomas Beralas (libero) and Miguel Flores Jr. (opposite) were selected to the second team All-OEC as their play kept Golden West moving forward and in rythym. Beralas led the Rustlers and the OEC with 172 digs and 2.73 digs per set for the season. Flores Jr. was the esstientially the heart that kept the Rustlers beating along all season as hee finished second on the team with 136 kills, 35 assists, and 116 digs. His 116 digs were fourth best in conference play and his 21 block solos are good third best. 

Golden West looks to build on their 2019 campaign next season with their eyes on qualifying for the postseason and making the final four.
