Huntington Beach, Calif. - The score doesn't truly reflect how the Rustlers battled through four sets to the visiting Palomar College Comets to ultimately lose 3-1. 

In all four sets, Golden West held a lead and kept things close but in the end too many errors were committed in the loss as the team hit .069. Mark Aparicio led the Rustlers in hitting percentage at .240 with 10 kills to only four errors along with 19 assists and 15 digs.

Outside hitter Nicholas Hoffmeyer led the Rustlers with 14 kills and chipped in 13 digs. 

Golden West will travel to Grossmont on Wednesday, March 2 for a 6pm match.
