Huntington Beach, Calif. – The men's volleyball squad earned a much-needed home Orange Empire Conference (OEC) sweep of Fullerton College 26-24, 25-17, and 25-23 Friday night.

In their final match of the season the Rustlers came out ready to play as they took the first set 26-24. Freshman outside hitter Nicolas Maya tallied 10 kills tying teammate Shane Sanders with a team high 10 kills and 14 digs.

Golden West cruised to victory in the second set 25-17 to take a commanding 2-0 lead. Freshman setter Jaden Kodongan led all Rustlers with 31 assists on night.  

The third and final set the Hornets fought hard to stay in it but ultimately it was the Rustlers night earning the 25-23 set win to complete the sweep.

Golden West ends the season with a 4-17 overall record and went 2-6 in OEC play.
