Huntington Beach, Calif. - Rustler men's water polo (9-0, 1-0) maintains their undefeated streak after beating the Fullerton Hornets 23-6, Wednesday, Sept 19th.

While Fullerton got the first goal, in the first minute of the game, Golden West's Scotty Silvas (Clovis, CA/Buchanon HS), scored just seconds after, setting the tone for his team and the rest of the game. Silvas, who was the leading scorer, finishing the game with 5 goals. Derek Iglesias (Miami, FL/Miami Palmetto), John Lovat (Huntington Beach, CA/Huntington Beach HS), and Sean Grab (S. Pasadena, CA/S. Pasadena HS) each scored 3 goals.

In the goal for the Rustlers for the first half was Doug Saavedra (San Diego, CA/San Diego HS) and Nick Lopez (RPV, CA/Palos Verdes) for the second. Golden West heads to UCLA Friday, Sept 21st, game time is at 3:00pm.
