Men's Water Polo Take Down the Tigers 13-4

Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Rustlers finish 5-0 in conference play and secured the #1 seed into the OEC tournament. Golden West (19-2, 5-0) defeated Riverside 13-4 in their last home conference match of the 2013 season.

Golden West took their time in the first half of the game, slowly running their score up to 7, while keeping Riverside (7-5, 3-2) at 1. Scoring a pair of goals each, Sean Grab and Alex Gonzlez led the second quarter for the Rustlers, while the Tigers blanked the second quarter. 

Riverside finally found the back of the net again at the end of the third quarter, but it was too late to recover. Golden West had an eight point lead on the visiting team. 

Both team scored twice in the fourth quarter, but it was the victory went to the Rustlers. 

The men of Golden West Water Polo now look to the Orange Empire Conference Championships, where they will strive to win their 25th consecutive conference championship.
