Men's Water Polo Dominates OEC Championship Game

Men's Water Polo Dominates OEC Championship Game

Fullerton, Calif. - Golden West's men's water polo team brought home their 25th consecutive conference victory on Saturday, November 9th at Fullerton College. The unrivaled team won the college's 43rd Orange Empire Conference title, defeating Orange Coast 10-3.

The Rustlers defense appeared unstoppable from the first Pirate possession, allowing Orange Coast a handful of shots on goal throughout the entire game. For the team's offense a clear precedent was set for the Rustler water polo program, and the 2013 team delivered as they swam away with the victory. Sophomores Laszlo Nagy, Sean Grab and Ari Marks each scored a pair of goals, along with freshman Aaron Polk chipping in two of his own.

Now the team will focus their attention and training for the SoCal Championships. The two-day tournament will be held at Cerritos College on November 15 and 16th. Game times will be posted as the championship play gets under way.
