Cerritos, Calif - Golden West will compete to win their 28th Southern California Championships at Cerritos College on November 15th and 16th. The Rustlers have held the title for the last 16 years, and in order to make it 17, the No. 2 seed Golden West will first face No. 7 Cerritos in the Falcon Aquatics Center at 12:45pm on Friday, Nov. 15. This will not be the first time Golden West and Cerritos have met this season. In a tournament hosted by the Rustlers, Golden West defeated Cerritos 11-4. 

The Rustlers (21-2, 7-0) wrapped up their regular season play undefeated in conference and walked away with the Championship in a 10-3 defeat against Orange Coast College.  Cerritos (15-13, 5-2) finished second in their conference after a narrow 11-9 loss to Long Beach City College.
