M Water Polo: Taylor Announces Five Committed to the Next Level

Huntington Beach, Calif. - After earning the programs fifth consecutive California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) state title and eighth title in the last 11 seasons, head coach Scott Taylor announces six student-athletes have committed to the next level. 

The CCCAA State tournament most valuable player, Konstantinos Koulouris has committed to Long Beach State after his outstanding sophomore campaign. In 29 matches Koulouris tallied 41 goals and 32 assists in leading the team with 73 points. 

Sophomore Breno Tenet has committed to play for McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois after recording 41 goals in 26 matches played. 

Barnabas Vidovics is taking his talents to the east coast to attend Wagner College which competes in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference. Vidovics finished the season with 33 goals and 17 assists for a total of 50 points in 2021. 

Attacker Reilly Pfeiffer has committed to Concordia Univeristy-Irvine to compete in the Western Water Polo Association after posted 29 goals and eight assists in the 2021 season. 

The leader on defense, Andrew Higginson has committed to Whittier College after a posting 29 goals, nine assists, and 29 steals. The Poets compete in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

Additionally, Taylor is happy to announce that Rylan Lantz and Kyle Cenicola have transferred to Long Beach State to pursue their degrees. 

Coach Taylor has amassed an impressive 556-38 record in 20 seasons of leading Golden West College. He has captured 12 CCCAA state titles and has never missed advancing to the State Championships, the end goal will always be to build a great team and transfer as many student-athletes to the next level.
