Riverside, Calif. - The Golden West College men's water polo team continued one of the most impressive streaks in the history of California Community College sports on Saturday at Riverside City College by defeating Saddleback, 22-8, to claim their 33rd consecutive Orange Empire Conference championship.

It was truly a no contest for Saddleback as the Rustlers jumped out to a four-goal lead and never looked back. They scored three or more goals in each quarter highlighted by a six goal outbursts in the first and second quarters.

Seven different players scored at least one goal with Augi Macchi firing home four scores. Alec Johnson tallied four goals, while Italy Roth followed with three goals.

The Rustlers move on as the favorite to capture the SoCal Regional that starts on Friday, November 11th at 2pm, opponent to be announced.
