Scott Taylor

Coach Scott Taylor begins his 19th season as the head coach of the Golden West Water Polo team. Taylor was named the 2014 CCCAA Coach of the Year after one of the team's most successful seasons. Under his direction, the Rustlers have brought home 8 CCCAA State Championships, 18 regional championships and 19 Orange Empire Conference Championships.

In 2002, Coach Taylor took over the men's program, after serving as the assistant coach under the legendary Ken Hamdorf for three seasons. 

Taylor began his coaching career at Marina High School in 1993, before moving on to his alma mater, Costa Mesa High in 1994. He coached both the boys and girls programs for the Mustangs through 1997. In 1998, Taylor jumped to Rancho Santa Margarita High, again coaching both the boys and girls squads.
