El Monte, Calif. - Golden West Men's Cross Country team took 7th place on Friday kept. 6th at the Rio Hondo College Cross Country Invitational.

Trey Reza finished the 4 miles first for the Rustlers and 32 out of 75 runners with a time of 22:47 and a 5:42 average mile. Next in for Golden West with just 2 seconds between their finishing times were Sophomores Yael Jimenez (23:15) and Chase Calkins (23:17).

The Men will lace up and run again in the Foothill Invitational on September 20th at 9:00am.
