Irvine, Calif. - Men's Cross country runner Phillip Nguyen improved his running efforts in the Burbaker Invitational, picking up the pace from 34:48 at the Golden West Invitational, to 34:32 over the weekend. The Rustlers did their best to endure the heat, with Javier Venegas finishing first for Golden West with a time of 25:02. 

Next, the men will run in the Mt. SAC Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16th at 9:00am.
