Fresno, Calif. - Freshmen Andrew Lugo competed in the 2021 CCCAA Cross Country State Championships. 

After charging out with the leaders for the first half of the race, Lugo finished 48th out of nearly 200 competitors.  He ran a personal best time of 21:15 which was only 40 seconds shy of the 35 year-old Rustler program record.
