Huntington Beach, Calif. - Golden West's sand volleyball team swept the Orange Coast Pirates 5-0 in the CCCAA team regionals hosted by the Rustlers.

No. 1 Jasmine Hogan and Kat Castillo took their first sets 21-16, 21-15 against Danielle Boyeett and Sierra Brown of OCC.

No. 2 Jessica Dominguez and Andrea Gonzalez defeated faced off with Lehua Alama-Jordan and Danyelle Brown 21-11, 21-18.

No. 3 Jaissi Manriquez and Gabbi Nguyen finished with twin scores of 21-15, 21-15 against Alexa Herrera and Shayna Johnson.

No. 4 Annie Ellis and Alyson Utke swept Aubrea Tuell and Megan Rawlings 21-13, 21-7.

No. 5 Megan Sanchez and Kelsey Osgood battled it out to 18-21, 21-15, 15-11 against  Kasse-Ann Dela Cruz and Alyssa Assayag

Congratulations to the women's team as they now advance on to the State Team Championships at Irvine Valley College on Friday, May 1st.
