Huntington Beach, Calif. - The Riverside Tigers left Golden West scoreless in a8-0 run-rule shortened 5 innings contest. Golden West (1-11, 0-5) played a strong defensive game, keeping Riverside from running completely away.

 Riverside (13-4, 5-1) starting the inning strong with a single to center field bringing in two runs for the tigers, and another on score on the throw.  Golden West, unfortunately couldn't shake the Riverside outfield, who were there to catch each pop up. 

Pitching for the Rustlers, Kelly Combs faced 30 batters over the 4 innings, with Angie Flores coming in to pitch releif in the last inning.

Golden West looks to regroup as they press forward in the season and host their annual weekend tournament.
